This is the Christmas tag by Makeup-Pixi3, which I wasn’t actually tagged in, I just really wanted to do it! I tag anyone reading this who hasn’t already done it.
1. Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or Synthetic?
Definitely real! I love the way it smells for a start, but also I just think they look better. Synthetic ones always look too perfect to me, and I think having a slightly wonky looking tree is part of the fun!
2. You’re in a coffee shop, it’s December, what do you pick?
I’m not really a coffee lover, so whenever I go to a coffee shop I get tea. In the winter months I do like to treat myself with the little Gingersnap biscuits that they do in Starbucks though – they’re to die for!
3. What’s your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
Since we decorated our living room a couple of years ago, we bought brown/gold/bronze decorations to match and honestly, I really like it because it all ties in together. I do also like red and silver decorations as they’re more typical Christmas colours, though I don’t think we’ve done that in a while
4. Giving or receiving?
This is a tricky one. Obviously everyone loves receiving gifts, and I always find giving gifts really difficult as I never know what to get anyone. However, there’s something nice about giving other people things and seeing the look on their face when it’s something they really like, so I guess I’m going to cheat and say both.
5. To mince Pie or not to?
6. What’s your traditional Sunday lunch?
Turkey, turkey and more turkey! I also really love pigs in blankets, ham and tons of new potatoes!
7. Christmas day fashion
As a family we don’t really have a dress code for Christmas, and it’s often just whatever clothing you were given under the tree! Last year my gran got everyone dressing gowns and onesies, so that was what we wore all day! I would like to dress up a bit fancier on Christmas day, but sometimes it’s just more fun to be really cosy in a Christmas jumper.
8. What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Anything off the Michael Bublé Christmas album is a hit with me, though I do particularly like Holly Jolly Christmas.
9. What’s your favourite Christmas film?
We don’t really watch many Christmas films, so it’s only this year that I’ve seen Elf for the first time! I guess I would have to say The Snowman.
10. Open presents before or after lunch?
Before definitely. We’re always too excited to wait that long!
