I’ve done a lot of Project Life posts recently, but I haven’t done a proper update of my album since the beginning of March. I wanted to show you some pages and cards from my album from March to June as I like sharing these parts of my album.
The above two photos are from the same page, and utilise some buttons that I bought in The Works. I got really into a colour scheme for this page and used a lot more embellishments than usual.
I included a bit in my album from Adele’s #SpringGiftSwap. The lovely Joanny sent me my box, so I included some journalling about the experience, as well as the letter she sent me slotted into the 6×4 pocket below. The 3×4 Project Life card with the who/what/where/when was sent in Joanny’s box so it seemed fitting to include it.
I ordered a few 4×4 photos in March, and not all of them were going in 4×4 pockets. I didn’t want to cut them down to 3×4, so with a couple of them I made them 6×4 by gluing them to 3×4 cards. I haven’t decided if I want to write on this one or not yet, so I’ve left it blank for the moment.
Full pages of photos have really been my thing recently, so I’ve been trying to incorporate more 3×4 photos than usual and I’m really liking how it looks.
This card is something that I’m really proud of. I love Project Life, but sometimes I miss traditional scrapbooking. I’ve incorporated journalling, memorabilia, a photo and washi tape (always a winner) which are things that can get lost with PL.
This is my first 4×4 title card and whilst it’s simple, I quite like it. The photos on this page are quite neutral in colour so the title card helps add a bit of colour to the page.
I cut this from a La De Dah notepad which I seldom use in Project Life, but I think works really well with the colour theme on this page, and I liked the sentiment.
I haven’t been doing an awful lot recently, as highlighted here, so a lot of the pictures I’ve been including recently are much more ‘everyday life’. Surprisingly, I’ve been enjoying this method of PL a lot more, and I’ve been trying to incorporate journalling even when I haven’t got any pictures to support it.
I’ve been getting a lot lazier with this album recently, and I think next year I might do a slightly smaller album to make things easier for myself. That said, I am still enjoying Project Life, and I’m so glad I started it! If any of you have any advice for filling an album with minimal photos I’d love to hear it, as I think that’s how I’m going to try and finish this album.
