Left: Sunbeam | Right: Love Hearts | £6.00 each
These are the only two Urban Outfitters nail varnishes that I own, and I think I would like to try more of their collection even though they are a little pricey.
This is my favourite of the two and I have so far only used it over a colour, but I would like to see what it would look like on its own or with a white underneath as I think this could look really cool and maybe kinda festive. The product itself glides on your nails really easily and doesn’t take long to dry at all which is really nice. I’ve used two coats on my nails at the moment which gives a lovely layer of glitter.
I am not such a fan of this polish. It looks lovely until you actually try to paint your nails with it. Getting the hearts out of the pot and onto your nails is really difficult, and I only ever managed to pick two up at a time. I think this might be easier if you tipped some out before painting your nails, but you would waste a lot more product that way which is a shame. I’m pretty disappointed with this one, but I’ll try and make it work.
This is what I came up with to test both of these nail varnishes out. The colour underneath is Gone Fishing by Topshop. They do look like a bit of a mess really, and I apologise for the low quality image. I hope you enjoyed this mini review. If you’ve tried any UO nail varnishes, let me know what you thought of them as I’d love to know! If not, what’s your favourite nail varnish?
