I love a good shopping trip and I’ve been stocking up on some summer essentials for my trip to Cuba. I already have a lot of things that I need as I’m just reusing my clothes from last summer as most of them still fit, so this is a pretty small haul.
First up is this bikini from Missguided. One thing I have grown out of from last year is my bikinis (apparently I’m getting a bum, who knew!?) so I wanted to get a couple more. I fell in love with this bikini as soon as I saw it, and I like the option to buy different sizes for top and bottoms because I never need the same size for both!
This bikini was a grand total of £4 from my beloved Primark. I actually went in to see if I could find a pair of bottoms to go with one of my Primark bikinis from last year, but sadly they didn’t have my size left. For £4 I figured I might as well just invest in a whole new one, and I really liked these colours. I had to get this bikini in one size as the top and bottoms come together, but the top looks quite small to me anyway so I figured it would be okay.
Also in Primark (but a different shopping trip) I picked up this skirt. It was only £1 when I got to the till and I really love it! It’s not too tight fitting which I like, and you can’t really go wrong for the price!
I also bought a grey knitted dress for £6 which is really cute. It’s quite short but I think it’ll be fine on holiday and I can always wear it with leggings at home.
My best purchase recently has hands down been these JuJu jellies. I’ve been eyeing these up for a while but when I saw them on sale for £7 in Topshop, I really couldn’t resist!
Lastly, the ‘essentials’ of the haul. I picked up two deodorants and a travel-sized dry shampoo. I do need to invest in a full-sized one as I’ve run out, but I figured for now I’d just get a travel one.
That’s it for my holiday ‘essentials’ haul. I have also picked up some other things recently, like a new pair of jeans, but I thought I’d show them some other time – maybe even an outfit of the day? I’m on holiday as we speak, but let me know what your holiday essentials are so I can compare when I’m home!
