Last year I wrote about my 2016 blogging goals and what I hoped the year would bring for my blog. This year I thought I’d do something similar. I revisited my 2016 goals in June to work out what had gone well in the first half of the year. I actually found I’d exceeded most of them (or was headed that way) so decided to set myself some more. These again I mostly achieved, so this year I’m going to try and be quite ambitious. I’m still 56 followers behind schedule on Twitter though, so help a gal out if you aren’t already following!
What are my 2017 blogging goals?
My number one goal aside from the numbers is just to keep creating quality content that I’m proud of on a regular basis. I fell off the bandwagon with this at the end of 2016 but it’s hopefully going to be at the heart of this blog in the new year.
I also want to branch out more on Pinterest. A lot of my referral traffic comes in the form of BuJo posts from Pinterest, but I would love to change this up in the new year and work out how I can make the most of it. I also want to create other shareable content that isn’t bullet journal related.
Thirdly, I want to work out how to create more of a brand for myself. I feel like Lazy Thoughts the brand isn’t as strong as I would like it to be, and I want to change this. I think this will happen when I post more, but I also need to work harder to link my social media accounts and blog together.
2017 Social Media goals
I really want to challenge myself in 2017 so I’m basically going to attempt to double what I achieved last year. Wish me luck.
Let me know what your goals are for 2017! Are you keeping an eye on the numbers or are you taking a different approach?
