Q&A: Meet my November advertisers

Q&A: Meet my November advertisers

It’s that time of the month again where I introduce you to the fab people on my sidebar. This month I’ve got two lovely ladies advertising with me and I’ve grilled them on all things blogging. I even sneaked in a cheeky Christmas related question, but I’m trying to be good and save the rest for next month’s Q&A! If you’d like to advertise with me in December, you can get more info here.

First up is Ellen from E L Feelgood’s Vintage. Ellen advertised with me last month so I’m really excited she’s back for more. She’s honestly got the broadest range of topics covered on her blog, and you really can just spend hours scrolling through. I’m all about the home and blogging tips and I nearly always learn something new!

What is your favourite thing about blogging?
I’ve so many favourite things. I love “meeting” new people, I love helping others if I can, I love writing and I love getting the opportunity to work with some fantastic brands!

How do you keep your content engaging?
I write about what I love in the hope that others appreciate it too. It’s also great being able to give back to my readers with giveaways. I really do appreciate people taking the time to read my blog.

What’s your favourite post to date?
I love working with other companies so my Gift Guide posts are probably my favourite posts this month.

Do you have a favourite autumn drink?
Anything with coffee is ok by me!

Which post on your blog are you most proud of?
I would have to say all the posts I have written about bloggers who inspire me. The Why She Inspires Me series is about celebrating female bloggers. To celebrate the strength and resilience of wonderful women. Female bloggers who, in my eyes, are quite frankly unstoppable.

Llinos - The Lilac LinnetMy second advertiser this month is the lovely Llinos from The Lilac Linnet. I first found Llinos when she advertised with Gwennan a few months ago (maybe at the same time I did?) and, similar to Ellen, she’s just a bit of a blogging powerhouse. Her blog posts cover just about everything you can think of and she’s always up for writing something from the heart.

What is your favourite thing about blogging?
I love having somewhere to write about the things that interest me. You can’t beat the feeling which you get when a fab post idea enters your mind! That feeling of inspiration which lifts you up and makes you so grateful to be a blogger.

How do you keep your content engaging?
I write what I’d like to read. I hope that when you visit my blog, you’ll think ‘that’s an interesting post’ and leave with a smile. Recently I’ve brought some history content to my blog (I’m a huge Tudor history geek you see!) and lots of readers have said how unique and thought-provoking the posts are, which has really made me happy.

What’s your favourite post to date?
It’s so hard to choose! I will go for my post about my admiration for Anne Boleyn, I really enjoyed bringing a passion of mine to the blog which I’d not addressed before.

Do you have a favourite autumn drink?
Yes! Mint hot chocolate, though I have to admit I don’t have one often. This autumn I’m making time to enjoy time in coffee shops with a book, with any drink from breakfast tea to pumpkin spice lattes, but mint hot choc is my absolute fave!

Which post on your blog are you most proud of?
Recently I wrote about being a cancer survivor of 18 years. It was very emotional to write, but I’m proud that I got the words out and I feel it’s a good piece of writing.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know my November advertisers. You should definitely head over and check out their blogs – I challenge you to only read one post on each! I’ll bet you end up staying for more.
